Nottingham Trent Volleyball Club is one of the fastest growing sports clubs our university has to offer.
With multiple social sessions throughout the week, four incredible men's and women's teams as well as rocking a very cool pink kit, there's a level of volleyball anyone can play while also keeping you fit and healthy through your final years of education.
WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
NTU Volleyball is a club dedicated to building friendships, competing and keeping fit with the power of volleyball. With excellent coaching from both our qualified head coach as well as our own 1st team and committee members in addition to having multiple social sessions during the week you will be sure to climb from a novice to a professional while with us!
We also provide excellent social activities outside of the sports halls to make sure you have fun off an on the court.

Like all other sports clubs at Nottingham Trent University we pride ourselves in our Volleyball teams. With excellent coaching and plenty of training sessions, you can get the best out of the competitive aspect of Nottingham Trent Volleyball.
To make the aspect of joining the teams even better, NTU is adding another two teams to our squads starting in the 2017-18 season, to allow more opportunities to represent our University in BUCS and the Local Leagues with the sport you love.
Last season our women's team placed the highest in our clubs short history in an impressive 36th place nationally. This was thanks to there 2nd place in league 2 and making it to the semifinals of the Midlands Conference Cup. This resulted in a highly praised 9th place in the Midlands table.

What Being a Student is All About
Like any other club at university we know our social activities have a huge impact to new students. Knowing this we have a huge emphasis on community and team spirit. With this in mind aim to bring you the very best experience at university, not only by playing volleyball but by also making new friends that will last a lifetime.Â
We do this by hosting some of the best nights out, winning The Club Of The Year Award in 2015. With one of the largest turnouts to events such as Ocean Wednesday, Boat Ball and other social outings throughout the year we know there is something for everyone to make you feel part of a huge social community.

How do we raise money?
Just like every club at Nottingham Trent raising money is a large part of our community. We make sure to host money raising events throughout the winter and spring terms to raise awareness while also playing the sport we love.

HOW TO JOIN
Be sure to look out for us at freshers fair to get a flyer and to sign up. Clifton on Tuesday the 26th September and City on Wednesday the 27th of September.
If you cant do that don't worry we will be running taster sessions throughout the week starting on the 27th of September from 5-6pm at Clifton Campus, the 28th of September 8-9pm at the City Sports Hall and on the 1st of October 2-3pm at Clifton Campus.
WHAT ABOUT JOINING THE COMPETING TEAMS?
For anyone who wants to join any of the Volleyball teams to represent our university we will also be hosting trials on the 1st team training session on Tuesday the 3rd of October at Clifton campus.
HOW MUCH IS IT TO JOIN?
NTU Volleyball prides ourselves in being as inclusive as possible, to do this we make sure to have some of the lowest fares out of all clubs at our university.Â
To  become a social member it only costs £30 which will include benefits such as sponsor discounts, volleyball events and ticket priority for Varsity. For £35 you can become affiliated giving you the ability to play and represent our university in BUCS fixtures which also includes coaching from our head coach and warm up shirts it costs.
